A partner-centric approach built around the theme line “Let’s Break New Ground Together” This change in direction saw partners engage with EOC, across 5 key themes, in the months leading up to the conference. It included the important addition of having partners present on-stage during conference sessions, thereby ensuring that messaging resonated directly with us.
Office 365 Education is helping students worldwide to get the most out of their education while gaining valuable skills that will help them enter the future workforce. The Student Advantage initiative allowed students to use the latest version of Office at their education institution and at home. The initiative was supported by Government, through the Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) and Microsoft Malta, as part of its ongoing commitment to education.
During the keynote, Symantec presented its vision and strategy being the driving force behind all of the partner-focused initiatives, programs, and technology.
Focus was given on efforts on developing a market-led go-to-market strategy for EMEA and transforming operations and programs to support that strategy.

The Event was held last Wednesday at the Le Meridien St. Julians.
Yet again Newtech has partnered with Microsoft in the investment of the Microsoft Innovation Centre (MIC). The MIC was launched on Friday 22nd Feb with the Honourable Prime Minister of Malta, Dr. Lawrence Gonzi, the Microsoft Multi Country General Manager, Takuya Hirano and the Microsoft Malta General Manager, Adrianna Zammit. This is another step showing the strong business relationship Microsoft has with its leading local distributor, Newtech.

JJ Miceli Demajo, George Azzopardi, Chris Mifsud, Kyle Briffa and Jonathan Said from Newtech Ltd got their hands dirty at Dar San Giuseppe last Saturday 1st December 2012.
The event was organised in collaboration with Jugs Malta whereby a number of companies participated by giving various donations to Dar San Giuseppe and dedicating a day of their free time to a total overhaul of various quarters at Dar San Giuseppe. Tasks included carry out of maintenance, improvements and assembly of furniture to make the home for boys a happier place.
